Stays of up to 15 days: China extends visa-free travel
The People’s Republic of China is extending visa-free travel to its country for citizens from twelve countries, among them Germany. This will initially apply until the end of 2025.
Since December 2023, French, German, Dutch, and Spanish citizens have no longer needed a visa for trips to China lasting no longer than 15 days. However, this regulation has so far only applied on a trial basis and for a limited period of time.
Citizens of the following countries, eleven of which are in Europe alone, can now enter the People’s Republic of China visa-free until 31 December 2025.
